Course Details

Our brains are the smartest machines known to humankind and with technological advancements, we have gained deeper insights into their functioning. Our Neuroscience course offers a clinical perspective on the chemistry, functioning, and responses generated by our brains on a daily basis, covering topics such as the nervous system, behaviors, sensory functions, cognition, and development.

Accommodation

1. Accommodation will consist of single or twin rooms in a college setting

2. The accommodation is located within a mile of the city centre

3. Some locations may have ensuite rooms available

4. Internet Access

Tuition

1. An expert tutor will lead interactive seminars in small groups, with no more than 8 students.

2. Two pieces of independent work (essays or problem sheets) will be completed by each student during the course.

3. The tutor will evaluate the work in either a 1:1 or 2:1 tutorial, providing feedback and an opportunity for discussion.

Extracurricular Activities:

1. In addition to academic study, students are encouraged to engage in social activities and explore the city.

2. Socializing with like-minded peers and participating in practical field trips are key components of the program.

3. The program offers a rich social calendar, including traditional guided tours of University museums and relaxing punting trips on the River Cam.
