Course Details

This course delves into the economic and political consequences of climate change, and investigates case studies at local, national, and international levels. The course explores the challenges faced by governments and organizations in tackling global emissions and the impact of treaties such as the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement. In addition, the course explores climate ethics and environmental justice, which are crucial for addressing the impact of climate change on those who are least responsible for emissions. By incorporating an interdisciplinary approach, this course provides a comprehensive understanding of the challenges posed by anthropogenic climate change.
