Course Details

Our computer science course teaches you the programming skills you need for a successful career as an analyst, developer, or consultant. Develop problem-solving skills, explore software development principles, and gain confidence in creating interfaces.

Accomodation

1. Accommodation will consist of single or twin rooms in a college setting

2. The accommodation is located within a mile of the city centre

3. Some locations may have ensuite rooms available

4. Internet Access

Tuition

1. Learning in small groups (usually no more than 15 students) provides quality time with the teacher and encourages questions.

2. Interactive learning is used to guide students through new concepts, with practice tasks assigned to build knowledge and skills.

3. Group work, independent research, and homework assignments are also included.

Extracurricular Activities:

1. In addition to academic study, students are encouraged to engage in social activities and explore the city.2. Socializing with like-minded peers and participating in practical field trips are key components of the program.3. The program offers a rich social calendar, including traditional guided tours of University museums and relaxing punting trips on the River Cam.

Oxford Summer Courses was established in 2010 by two Oxford University alumni, Harry Hortyn and Robert Phipps. Offering a diverse range of over 40 subjects tailored for ages 9 to 24, their summer courses are hosted at prestigious university colleges and boarding schools in iconic cities including Oxford, Cambridge, London, and more. In 2023 alone, over 2,380 students experienced Oxford Summer Courses.
