Nurture your passion for medicine with our Medicine Summer School delivered in Cambridge by Oxford Summer Courses. Designed for students aged 13-15, the course explores various aspects of the medical field, covering everything from broken bones to terminal illnesses. Learn how the body functions, delving into anatomy, physiology, and infectious pathology. Discover medical ethics, practice diagnosing, and have a go at applying your skills to real clinical cases. Interactive workshops help you develop teamwork, debating, and collaboration skills. There’s plenty of time to ask questions, debate issues and explore ideas in the small classes of no more than eight students. Enjoy a mix of academic exploration, social activities, and cultural experiences, as you gain insights into studying at Cambridge while making unforgettable memories.

Accomodation

  • Soak up the academic atmosphere as you stay in historic Cambridge 
  • Three meals a day provided, along with packed meals for excursion days
  • There will be chance to experience formal dinners in unique Cambridge settings

Oxford Summer Courses was established in 2010 by two Oxford University alumni, Harry Hortyn and Robert Phipps. Offering a diverse range of over 40 subjects tailored for ages 9 to 24, their summer courses are hosted at prestigious university colleges and boarding schools in iconic cities including Oxford, Cambridge, London, and more. In 2023 alone, over 2,380 students experienced Oxford Summer Courses.
