Stars and Planets in a Habitable Universe
Course Details
This course covers topics such as how stars and galaxies form, how they evolve and give rise to planets, and how we study the universe. It includes the solar system, stars' life cycle, our Milky Way galaxy's structure, and the discovery of exoplanets. The course is designed for non-science majors and includes problem sets and field trips to observatories.
Accomodation
1.Stay in a classic undergraduate residence hall.
2.Residences will have a lounge, common area, laundry facility, and computer cluster with printer.
3.You will most likely have a roommate and you may be placed on co-ed floors.
4.Eat meals with fellow students in a nearby dining commons.
5.Dining options support students with food allergies, religious requirements, medical needs, and vegan/vegetarian diets.
