The Origin and Development of the Cosmos
Course Details
This course explores the origins and evolution of the universe from its earliest moments to the present day, including the physical laws that govern its development. Topics include the early universe, dark matter and dark energy, and the evolution of galaxies, clusters, and quasars. The course is designed for non-science majors and includes problem sets using basic algebra and numerical estimates.
Accomodation
1.Stay in a classic undergraduate residence hall.
2.Residences will have a lounge, common area, laundry facility, and computer cluster with printer.
3.You will most likely have a roommate and you may be placed on co-ed floors.
4.Eat meals with fellow students in a nearby dining commons.
