Join this Medicine Summer School at Cambridge, designed for ages 18-24. This course, by Oxford Summer Schools, immerses yourself in the world of medicine. Explore patient care, the diagnosis of symptoms, gain an understanding of sustainable healthcare. Look into specialties like cardiology, surgery, or the future of medicine, and engage with advanced clinical theory, case studies, and public health debates. The tutorial Q&A sessions give you insights from industry experts.
You’ll have opportunities to experience the Oxford tutorial system and visit a variety of colleges as you look into future career paths. You’ll complete two pieces of independent work, which will be discussed and evaluated in tutorials. Take away a certificate and a letter of recommendation when you graduate. Enjoy evening socials, cultural visits, and industry discussions, all designed for a mature, comprehensive experience. Free time allows for self-exploration and collaboration, culminating in formal dinners and a graduation ceremony.
Oxford Summer Courses was established in 2010 by two Oxford University alumni, Harry Hortyn and Robert Phipps. Offering a diverse range of over 40 subjects tailored for ages 9 to 24, their summer courses are hosted at prestigious university colleges and boarding schools in iconic cities including Oxford, Cambridge, London, and more.
