This summer course is ideal for students aged 16-17 who want to learn more medicine. The Medicine Summer School in Oxford, organinsed by Oxford Summer Courses, is an expert-led program that explores genetics, human disease, stem cells, and more. You’ll learn how normal body functions can help combat diseases and discover new treatments through cutting-edge research. Set ambitious goals, participate in Q&A sessions, develop critical thinking in our academic skills masterclass, and explore future careers with insights from expert speakers. Meet university representatives and visit Oxford colleges for an immersive experience. Taking this program will introduce you to the tutorial-style teaching used at top universities, like Oxford and Cambridge. Complete two independent assignments, receive personalised feedback, and gain new perspectives. Earn a certificate and recommendation letter from your tutor.

Oxford Summer Courses was established in 2010 by two Oxford University alumni, Harry Hortyn and Robert Phipps. Offering a diverse range of over 40 subjects tailored for ages 9 to 24, their summer courses are hosted at prestigious university colleges and boarding schools in iconic cities including Oxford, Cambridge, London, and more. In 2023 alone, over 2,380 students experienced Oxford Summer Courses.
